Discover, interact, connect, and explore the San Antonio Aquarium. Pet the Ring-tailed or Red Ruffed lemurs for the first time and feed the Stingrays, Sharks, Iguanas, Tortoises, and Lorikeets. Walk the Plank and jump into the shark and stingray-infested waters, and meet the unique creature you don’t want to miss out on seeing, the Mermaids. Everywhere you turn, you will find an experience worthy of your time and create memories that will stay with you always.
Artistic passion flows throughout the City of San Antonio Department of Arts & Culture, where they strive to enrich the quality of life by creating art programming and helping people experience art. Being a leader in arts & culture, they manage two free art galleries, welcome film productions, and provide grants to individual arts and nonprofit organizations so they can continue to provide entertainment and education.
Enjoy quality time with family and friends in the great outdoors by making your way to Phil Hardberger Park, a former dairy farm with historic buildings, nature walks, picnic, and play areas containing three unique ecosystems. Classified as a natural area to help preserve the land with its wonderful environmental treasures, it offers trails, dog parks, basketball courts, an outdoor classroom, cycling, group exercise, and the Salado Creek overlook.
