The Buckhorn Saloon & MuseumThe Buckhorn Saloon & Museum

Originated in 1881, The Buckhorn Saloon & Museum is where wild horns and antlers were traded in for beer or whiskey because the folks in those days didn’t have much money on them. The Buckhorn collection is now the world’s most unique and largest collections of horns and antlers. Walk the exhibit halls and see over 520 species of wildlife from all over the world, including fish from the seven seas. Many are record holders and have been collected from every continent for over 100 years. Later added on, The Texas Ranger Museum features hundreds of authentic Texas Ranger artifacts such as automatic handguns, shotguns, badges and more.
