San Antonio Fire MuseumSan Antonio Fire Museum

A “must-see-to-experience” for all ages, the San Antonio Fire Museum gives you a glimpse of what it was like being a mid-1800s firefighter in a fire station. Browse antique fire apparatus, historical artifacts, and archived documents and photos.   Kids can dress up in authentic replicas of firefighters’ turnout gear and climb on a 1953 International fire truck located in the kid’s area. They can sit in the small theater and watch short videos of the history of Fire Service and how Firefighters train today.

It’s made possible by the ARTS San Antonio, where San Antonians are joined with world-class artists through entertainment, enrichment, and education.
