The Waco Cultural Arts Fest is an event designed to celebrate the diverse multicultural influences in the area through artistic expression like music, performance, food and various arts activities. The festival takes place at Indian Spring Park and features free admission, fine arts activities all day and a continuous open mic for aspiring performers. Held in the middle to latter part of September, the event draws visitors from all over the state, especially families with kids interested in art. These young festival-goers get a chance to create art in various forms during the three day event, and will come away from the festival with a deeper appreciation for the state's cultural and artistic influences.

The Art Center Waco overlooks the Brazos River and is housed in a classic-styled Mediterranean residence. Inside, there is a stunning collection of sculpture, pottery, paintings and woodcarvings. The work is mainly the product of young, up-and-coming talent and new exhibits are added on a regular basis. The center also offers art classes for both children and adults. Also, there is a sculpture garden outside that features 35 works that not only prove to be an alluring invitation to visitors, they also create a compelling scene that you'll find hard to forget. This is the perfect attraction for any art lover.

Skydive Temple gives you the ultimate thrill of a lifetime from 2 miles high in the air. With Tamdem skydiving you will parachute from the airplane to the drop zone, securely attached to an experienced and licensed instructor, and enjoy your awesome adventure of flying the blue skies. Your instructor will do all the work for you.  Remember to ask about video and still pictures to capture your ultlimate thrill of a lifetime. The snack bar is available on weekends, or you can take your own food and spirits for after your jump. There is plenty of Shiner Bock available when you are done! They are the only Drop Zone in Texas owned and operated by a National Skydiving Champion with 40+ years of skydiving experience. They are also the official training facility for the Texas National Guard Parachute Demonstration Team. 

Be totally inspired by the performance excellence and sounds of the Waco Symphony that has been making music in Central Texas since 1962 and is still delighting fans of all ages and backgrounds since then. With an impressive array of first class musicians, the Symphony continues to shine forth a passion and joy for music with each and every concert.  They have attracted world-class talents such as Frank Sinatra Jr., Art Garfunkel, and renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma to perform for the community. Many years of sold-out shows, holiday concerts, and subscription season performances have brought beauty and tranquility to audiences, and the ensemble continues to serve as a fixture in the cultural life of the community.
