Days of '47 Parade
The Days of '47 Parade is one of the largest parades in the country. It is held every July 24th, the same day as Pioneer Day which is a state holiday for Utah. This day marks the arrival of Brigham Young and fellow Mormon pioneers to the area after being exiled from Nauvoo, Illinois. The first parade and festival was held in 1849.
