Norfolk's First Landing Park is located by Chesapeake Bay and was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. One of its many recreation attractions is the availability of hiking, bicycle and guided trails that stretch out for 20 miles. The most popular section is the Bald Cypress Trail that is one mile across dunes and ponds. Bikes are only allowed on the Cape Henry trail.
