The Carrie B. is a replica of a Mississippi riverboat that even features a paddlewheel. The river boat can accommodate up to 300 guests and once on board, everyone can enjoy a full bar service and the spectacular views from the climate-controlled deck.

Every August, Portsmouth celebrates the creation and impact of art with the popular Seawall Art Show. For over 30 years, this has proven to be one of the area's favorite events. Art lovers from all over the area gather in Portsmouth to enjoy the showcase of fine arts and crafts that both artists and artisans bring to the Portsmouth waterfront. The Portsmouth Fine Arts Commission and Portsmouth Museum are the main organizers of this show with proceeds going to support the continuation of various arts programs in Portsmouth.

The John Cary Weston House is a structure that figures significantly into the area's history. Upon first glance, you will be struck by its Richardson Romanesque Revival architecture which is adorned by a granite ashlar with brownstone trim. The building has served many purposes, some of which were a Presbyterian church and a Christian Science center. Tours are available during regular business hours.
