Actually, this popular under-30s crowd watering hole is five times longer than it is wide, so you will press the flesh quite a bit, even if you are just heading to the bar. Buddy's serves a light menu early in the evening, but if you wait until later to try and get in, you might be facing at least a 15-minute wait outside. Then again, you might make a new "buddy" before you even enter the bar!

Every fall, the Richmond Children's Festival is held and always draws plenty of visitors who not only enjoy the fun, food and music, but they're also glad to support a good cause. The event benefits the Greater Richmond chapter of SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now). It's a whole day of fun that includes hands on activities for the kids, a pumpkin patch, live music, live demonstrations, a food court and picnic area, and lots of great fun for the whole family.
