The Port Townsend Aero Museum began operations in 2001, founded by experienced aircraft restorers Jerry and Peggy Thoutte. With an initial donation of six flying antique aircraft and several restoration projects, the museum quickly attracted a group of dedicated young volunteers. The youth mentorship program grew alongside the collection. Check out their collection and maybe even sign up for their volunteer program.

See the Seattle Storm tear up the basketball court at KeyArena. This WNBA team was founded in 2000 and has worked hard to provide a fan-friendly, family environment where people of all ages can watch them show off their sports skills. Cheer with Doppler, the mascot, as these women brew up a Storm in Seattle.

Ride up the Space Needle–one of the most distinctive icons in Seattle. Built for the 1962 World´s Fair, the Space Needle features an observation deck over 500 feet above the ground. While you are looking out across the cityscape, be sure to stop by the rotating SkyCity restaurant and gift shop. You can't leave the city without experiencing this attraction.

Once the hub of Seattle´s maritime activities, the Seattle Waterfront now contains a number of the city´s most popular recreation and retail venues. Meander around the waterfront or seawall, taking in the sights and sounds of the city while you enjoy fine dining or entertainment. You can even ride along on the streetcar, take a cruise or ride on the ferry. You'll find plenty of date destinations, all rolled into one romantic destination.
