Seattle is known for its delicious brews, but Espresso Vivace Roasteria offers something much different than the Starbucks and Seattle´s Best chains found throughout the city. Opened in 1988 and inspired by Northern Italian espresso, Espresso Vivace creates their drinks with the motto "una bella tazza di caffe"–a beautiful cup of coffee.

The UW Waterfront Activities Center offers canoe and rowboat rentals to the general public, as well as special discounts for students, alumni, faculty and staff. Spend a day on the water enjoying recreation almost any day of the week from January until November.
The Port Townsend Aero Museum began operations in 2001, founded by experienced aircraft restorers Jerry and Peggy Thoutte. With an initial donation of six flying antique aircraft and several restoration projects, the museum quickly attracted a group of dedicated young volunteers. Part of the 1962 World´s Fair display, the International Fountain is located in the Seattle Center. Designed to embody Seattle´s tall timber, whitewater waterfalls, fishing and history of gold rushes, this large, domed fountain is the perfect place to splash around, whether you are young or old.
