Coach Chris Petersen has said a goal this year for the Huskies is to improve their down-field strikes. Eason has the skill set to do just that. He also has some rough edges that may make this a bumpy ride, but the Huskies ceiling with Eason at the helm is intriguing.

Jordan Morris technique is sharper. His pace is quicker. His push to score is more aggressive.The only negative is the visual improvement hasnt been enough to generate wins for the Sounders.

AURORA, Ontario AP Annie Park shot a 7-under 65 on Thursday to take a one-stroke lead in the opening round of the CP Womens Open. Defending champion Brooke Henderson and fellow Canadian Anne-Catherine Tanguay were one shot back along with top-ranked Jin Young Ko, Pajaree Anannarukarn and Nicole Broch Larsen. Park hit 15 greens
