The Spokane Chiefs are a major junior ice hockey team that plays in the Western Hockey League. Its home games take place in the Spokane Arena. The sports team consistently ranks in the top 10 of Canadian Hockey League attendance, as their devoted fan base only continues to grow with each season. The Chiefs are no strangers to victory, either, as they have won the Memorial Cup in 1991 and 2008.

At Auntie's Bookstore, you'll immediately feel like one of the family! This impressive building is a three-story structure full of stories, as vintage and used books on every topic imaginable are here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, so if you can't seem to find what you are looking for, just ask. There are always poetry readings and different authors stopping by for signings, and the coffee shop in the store is a favorite of patrons who love their cup of joe almost as much as they love their books.

Fasteddies All Purpose Pub is aptly named. This is the perfect nightlife stop when you and your friends are either heading out for a fun evening or wanting a few drinks and some munchies after the game before you call it a night. The fact that Fasteddies is located across from the Spokane Convention Center virtually guarantees that the crowd from whatever big event is happening will drop in to this low key but charming little bar. And aside from featuring an impressive selection at the bar, their menu offers some very delicious choices like burgers, sandwiches, appetizers and lots more.
