Have a ball at Betty Brinn Children's Museum, a place of interactive and hands-on learning attractions for children! Perfect for children under 10 years old, this museum educates children about art, nature and science through fun and unique exhibits and attractions. The ABC garden features everything from Azaleas to Zinnias; It's Artastic! invites children to create music, put on a puppet show and make their shadows do ballet; Raceways and On A Roll teach children about gravity, acceleration and momentum by guiding golf balls along fun and exciting tracks.

Beer lovers will want to stop by this local microbrewery for one of their tours. At Lakefront Brewery, you'll learn about the beer-making process and sample four tap beers for free with admission. Leave your tour with a commemorative Souvenir Pint Glass. Since 1987, Lakefront has specialized in handmade brews including Riverwest Stein, Eastside Dark, Klisch Pilsner and Organic Extra Special Bitters.

Visit the Boerner Botanical Gardens from late April to early November. The internationally renown horticultural center offers eleven specialty outdoor gardens, including the cutting edge Trial Garden which features newly developed plant varieties not publicly available anywhere else.
