Wrap up your summer with the Indian Summer Festival in September. This festival is the largest Native American celebration of its kind in the country, and features nationally known American Indian performers and entertainers, as well as art and food. Watch a concert at the indoor Pabst Theater. The fourth oldest continually operating theater in the United States has hosted a number of notable, classic acts. The entertainment venue continues its century long tradition by presenting approximately one hundred music, dance, comedy, opera and theater events each year. Stop by on Friday's for Fish Fry & Flick, a chance to enjoy a free movie on an outdoor screen.

Engage in hands-on learning about science, nature and sustainable living at the Urban Ecology Center. The center has two outdoor "laboratories," located in two urban parks, which feature 15 acres of woodland, a lagoon and riparian habitat on the east bank of the Milwaukee River. The parks also house a habitat-themed playground, as well as seasonal swimming, boating and skating.

Admire the 50 plus sculpture collection spread throughout the 40 acres of the Lynden Sculpture Garden's park, lake and woodland. The monumental, abstract and colorful statues are part of the Garden's permanent collection. View traveling exhibitions as well, and admire the wonderful mesh of art, sculpture and the environment.
