Even though the group that organizes this event has literally logged thousands of miles in their respective races and daily runs; every effort is put forth to make this festival nothing short of a runaway success.

Nature lovers usually can't sit still for long, and that's why the Platte River Parkway Trail is so appealing for many people who live in Casper. This trail system runs approximately ten miles in length, east to west through the Casper community, connecting many parks and recreation areas. The trail is popular with walkers, runners and folks out to enjoy a day of outdoor recreational activities on land or on the river. There's also plenty of wildlife to view from either the trail or the lakeside.
