The Pathfinder Reservoir is situated on the North Platte River between Casper and Rawlins. It sits 47 miles southwest of Casper. The reservoir is part of the Pathfinder National Wildlife Refuge. It is a favorite destination for family fun and water recreation like swimming, fishing and water skiing during the summer months.

The Casper Planetarium consistently attracts stargazers of every age. The wide open Wyoming skies are seen more clearly thanks to the state-of-the-art equipment and telescopes that bring outer space into a much closer, sharper focus. In addition to illuminating constellations and planets, there is a wide range of attractions, multi-media programs, lectures, and presentations from various scientists and other experts. Also, don't forget to stop by the gift shop and the exhibit that features a real meteorite.
