Since 1994, this festival has made the Casper Mountain area ring with the breezy sound of bluegrass music, and you're sure to see some of the genre's most famous performers on stage. Also, there's plenty of food and fun for the kids. Don't miss the market area where artisans from all over display their wares and add to the unique fun of this highly popular event.

Casper's National Historic Trails Interpretive Center is one of the area's most popular attractions for several good reasons. This venue offers a chance to learn about the role that various trails played in the development of Wyoming and the western part of the country. Learn in detail about some of the area's most significant trails that include the Oregon, California, Mormon, Bridger and even the Pony Express. In addition to seeing visually arresting exhibits about the history of these trails, visitors can actually experience the trails themselves by follow the BLM signs outside the center. The National Historic Trails Center gives you the unique opportunity to walk through the same trails that have been used since the late 19th century.

When you check out a show at the Casper Children's Theatre, you may be witnessing the stage debut of a future Julia Roberts or Tom Hanks. And while it may be years before that fact is determined, you can definitely enjoy the fun productions and entertainment that this highly talented group of young performers consistently presents. The theater's mission is to teach kids life skills through stage skills, and that mission continues to be pursued as the theater has presented an impressive 289 performances over the past seven years.
