The Pathfinder Reservoir is situated on the North Platte River between Casper and Rawlins. It sits 47 miles southwest of Casper. The reservoir is part of the Pathfinder National Wildlife Refuge. It is a favorite destination for family fun and water recreation like swimming, fishing and water skiing during the summer months.

This impressive ski area features 60-plus acres of well-maintained trails, 600 vertical feet, and an apex that reaches 8,000 feet above sea level. This natural attraction boasts slopes that both seasoned pros and beginners will enjoy, as well as three lifts, snow-making machines, equipment rentals, a snack bar and ski and snowboarding classes.
