Casper's Stage III Community Theatre prides itself in hosting entertainment that spotlights the talents of some of the area's most gifted performers. These avid theater pros put on various productions throughout the year that not only celebrate the impressively honed skills of the actors and actresses on stage, but also those of the directors, technicians and backstage personnel whose combined efforts make each show a triumph for everyone involved.

Experience some of Wyoming's wildest wildlife without having to venture out into the wild. You only have to go as far as exploring the attractions at the Werner Wildlife Museum, a facility that is affiliated with Casper College. Several incredible creatures are featured as stuffed and mounted representatives of the various species from the area. See grizzly bears, mountain lions, and birds of prey. The museum also includes displays of animals from Canada, Alaska, Africa, Southeast Asia as well as other exotic places from around the globe.

Nature lovers usually can't sit still for long, and that's why the Platte River Parkway Trail is so appealing for many people who live in Casper. This trail system runs approximately ten miles in length, east to west through the Casper community, connecting many parks and recreation areas. The trail is popular with walkers, runners and folks out to enjoy a day of outdoor recreational activities on land or on the river. There's also plenty of wildlife to view from either the trail or the lakeside.

The Pathfinder Reservoir is situated on the North Platte River between Casper and Rawlins. It sits 47 miles southwest of Casper. The reservoir is part of the Pathfinder National Wildlife Refuge. It is a favorite destination for family fun and water recreation like swimming, fishing and water skiing during the summer months.
