Add a touch of class to your evening when you take your date to a performance by the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra. A fairly small orchestra, this group is nevertheless one of the finest in the region. Since 1935, the symphony has sought to share the beauty of music with Cheyenne–the perfect soundtrack for a romantic night.

Connecting the city together is the amazing Greater Cheyenne Greenway. More than just a 32-mile-long sidewalk, this 10-foot-wide reinforced concrete path is a monumental achievement and a key component in Cheyenne’s non-motorized transportation system. Walk, run, jog, bike or even skate through neighborhoods, parks and urban centers on this highly accessible outdoor path system.

See the history of the West through the eyes of the Nelson Museum of the West, a museum that has grown over the years thanks to the dedication of its founder, Robert Nelson. This growing museum’s collection consists of more than 20 temporary and permanent exhibits, ranging from Western art to Native American artifacts.

Dine at the restaurant and drink at the bar inside of The Albany, Cheyenne’s popular family-owned nightlife venue. Once a hotel across from the Union Pacific train station, the Albany Building now houses the best place in the city to get a meal and a cold one. Sit down at one of the tables, hang out near the bar or make your way over to the billiards area.
