See the history of the West through the eyes of the Nelson Museum of the West, a museum that has grown over the years thanks to the dedication of its founder, Robert Nelson. This growing museum’s collection consists of more than 20 temporary and permanent exhibits, ranging from Western art to Native American artifacts.

The Historic Governors’ Mansion provided residence for Wyoming’s governor from 1905 until 1976. This historic landmark and attraction is currently operating as a house museum, with rooms displaying decorations and artifacts from the 1905, 1937, 1955 and 1960s eras. A true college-oriented establishment, the Library Sports Grille and Brewery is one of the most popular nightlife hangouts for University of Wyoming students. This restaurant and brewery offers a sports bar atmosphere complete with multiple televisions and pool tables. Just south of the university’s dorm complex, the Library offers amazing daily specials.
