Parents skate free with children’s admission at Roller City. Since 1972, this skating rink has attracted residents and visitors of Cheyenne with its fun events. Join in a public skating session, learn to skate in private classes or watch the roller derby group show off their skills. All this set to the best music from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today!
Connecting the city together is the amazing Greater Cheyenne Greenway. More than just a 32-mile-long sidewalk, this 10-foot-wide reinforced concrete path is a monumental achievement and a key component in Cheyenne’s non-motorized transportation system. Walk, run, jog, bike or even skate through neighborhoods, parks and urban centers on this highly accessible outdoor path system.
Head out to the Curt Gowdy State Park, located in-between Cheyenne and Laramie, for a beautiful mountain retreat. Get back in harmony with Mother Nature in this 3,400-acre park and reservoir; this nature preserve is bounding with all sorts of plant and wildlife, as well as an “Epic” trail system, granite outcroppings (perfect for climbing), and aquatic and outdoor activities.
En Avant, Cheyenne’s premier dance studio, offers a variety of community programs and performances throughout the year. All ages are welcome, and types of dance range from jazz and hip hop to ballet and tap. Those who are looking for a good dance workout are welcome to join the new Zumba classes!
