Feel the adrenaline coursing through your veins as you fly down the slopes of the Snowy Range Ski & Recreation Area, nestled in the breath-taking Medicine Bow National Park. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or expert skier or snowboarder, you’re sure to have a great time exploring the many trails down the mountainside.

Formed by a small but dedicated group in 1989, the Texas Trail Museum marks the historic Texas Cattle Trail. Housed in a former Power Plant/Fire House, the small museum displays a number of historic and pre-historic artifacts from Albin, Burns, Carpenter, Egbert, Pine Bluffs and other areas of Laramie County, and includes six historic buildings.

Get up close and personal with the great North American bison at the Terry Bison Ranch, just seven miles south of Cheyenne. Explore the ranch resort attractions and its grassland grazers on either the custom-built train or by horseback riding along the trails. You can also enjoy fishing at the rainbow trout-stocked pond, let the children play at the Kid Corral and dine at the excellent Senator’s Steakhouse.
