See real dinosaur skeletons from the University’s archeological dig site at the Geological Museum at University of Wyoming. An amazing 75-foot Apatosaurus (Brontosaurus) skeleton dominates the museum hall, and the remaining space is filled with natural history discoveries like an Allosaurus fossil, a copper-plated T-Rex, hundreds of rock and mineral samples and intricate murals.

Wyoming is brimming with beautiful natural attractions, including parks and gardens, and the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens in the Capital City is at the forefront. These inspirational gardens consist of three greenhouses in a 6,800-foot conservatory, themed gardens, specialized landscapes, a Children’s Village and an associated arboretum. Come to the Mary Godfrey Playhouse or the historic Atlas Theatre to watch the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players bring a musical, drama, comedy or other special entertainment to life on stage. Since 1930, the Little Theatre troupe has been Cheyenne’s oldest and only continuously operating community theater group in the city.
