Get back in harmony with Mother Nature in this 3,400-acre park and reservoir; this nature preserve is bounding with all sorts of plant and wildlife, as well as an “Epic” trail system, granite outcroppings (perfect for climbing), and aquatic and outdoor activities.
Stretch your legs on the Historical Walking Tour, a self-guided walking tour through Lakeview Cemetery. Pick up a pamphlet from the front office and then wind your way around this gorgeous, historical resting place for all of Cheyenne’s famous, infamous and average citizens. Learn a little about the lives and histories of these people as you tour the grounds.
Support the University of Wyoming’s athletic teams, the Wyoming Cowboys, in a wide range of sports. Represented by the iconic silhouette of a cowboy riding a bucking bronco, these NCAA Division I sports teams include basketball, football, golf, volleyball, track and field, cross country, wrestling, tennis, soccer and swimming and diving.
