One of the largest Marian statues in the United States, Our Lady of Peace Shrine stands over 30 feet tall and weighs 180 tons. An unexpected sight in the small town of Pine Bluffs, along Cheyenne’s Interstate 80, this amazing concrete sculpture breaks up the monotony of fields and grain elevators.

Cheyenne is filled with small community and neighborhood parks. Lions Park, however, offers more to visitors than simply a grassy area. Formed by a small but dedicated group in 1989, the Texas Trail Museum marks the historic Texas Cattle Trail. Housed in a former Power Plant/Fire House, the small museum displays a number of historic and pre-historic artifacts from Albin, Burns, Carpenter, Egbert, Pine Bluffs and other areas of Laramie County, and includes six historic buildings.
