This trail offers alpine-style backpacking over the course of its 27.3 miles. Sports fans gather regularly at the Carlson Center in Fairbanks to cheer on the University of Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks men's ice hockey team. The Nanooks compete at the NCAA Division I level and perform consistently throughout the seasons.
