The Herberger Theater Center in Phoenix is a fantastic must-see destination for anyone who loves the arts and wants to experience cutting-edge live performances. The center is home to three incredible theater groups: the Actors Theatre, the Arizona Theatre Company, and the Center Dance Ensemble. In addition, visitors can view the works of amazing Arizona artists in the Upper Steele Pavilion, making the Herberger Theater Center a well-rounded and inviting destination.

Celebrate the anniversary of the paving of Gilbert Road at the annual Gilbert Days festival. This 3-day extravaganza takes place every November and features a rodeo, parade, and carnival. The best part? It's just a quick 30-minute drive from Phoenix. One of the proudest achievements is the Gilbert Days Royalty Court. These individuals devote countless hours promoting the Town of Gilbert and our Gilbert Days Events. They are thrilled to see thousands of Arizonans and out-of-state visitors attend the Gilbert Days events yearly. Join in for a celebration of Western heritage and community spirit.

Find your green-thumb inspiration in the garden's Berlin Agave Yucca Forest or the Desert Wildflower Loop Trail at the Desert Botanical Garden, a naturalist's dream where they showcase more than 145 acres of stunning desert blooms, flora, and fauna year-round. The site opened in 1939 and now boasts over 21,000 plants, including outdoor exhibits and displays, specialty greenhouses, and endangered and fragile species preservation. One-third of the plants are native to the area, while the remaining plants come from all over the world, including special collections from Australia and Baja California. Ecosystems represented include mesquite bosque, semidesert grassland, and upland chaparral scrub.
