If you're a music lover, the Musical Instrument Museum is a must-visit spot in Phoenix. You'll hear the history of sound and song uniquely using the wireless headsets issued to each visitor. The accompanying sounds near each display will transport you to the world of music and help you connect with your heritage while seeing over 4,200 instruments on display from every corner of the globe. From the beginning, the goal has been to deliver a musical experience that is enriching, inspiring, interesting, and fun. Today, the museum has a collection of more than 7,500 instruments from more than 200 world countries and territories, reflecting the rich diversity and history of many world cultures. Find your green-thumb inspiration in the garden's Berlin Agave Yucca Forest or the Desert Wildflower Loop Trail at the Desert Botanical Garden, a naturalist's dream where they showcase more than 145 acres of stunning desert blooms, flora, and fauna year-round. The site opened in 1939 and now boasts over 21,000 plants, including outdoor exhibits and displays, specialty greenhouses, and endangered and fragile species preservation. One-third of the plants are native to the area, while the remaining plants come from all over the world, including special collections from Australia and Baja California. Ecosystems represented include mesquite bosque, semidesert grassland, and upland chaparral scrub.

Head to Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium for a wildlife adventure you'll never forget and a fun and educational day out in Arizona. With 75 indoor exhibits showcasing a stunning variety of aquatic species, including fish, mammals, birds, invertebrates, amphibians, and reptiles, you'll be amazed at the diversity of wildlife on display. And if that's not enough, the zoo also boasts a baby animal nursery and a children's petting zoo. Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park has an incredible collection of over 600 exotic and endangered animals, thrilling rides, and daily shows. Take the chance to get up close and personal with the fastest land mammal on earth, the cheetah, on a train ride through the Safari Park. And with over 80 exhibits, the aquarium offers guests a glimpse into the wild underwater world of many aquatic animals, including sharks and rays. You'll be amazed by the giant ectotherms on display at Dragon World, and Adventure Land is the perfect place to meet amazing animals from North and South America.
