The sports team plays at Chase Field, a stadium modeled after the sprawling old-time stadiums of yesteryear, but with plenty of modern touches for the ultimate in fan satisfaction.

The Arizona Diamondbacks are a relatively new Major League Baseball team, and play in the West Division of the National League. Nicknamed the "D-backs," the team has already won one World Series. They won in 2001, which makes them the youngest team to have ever won a championship. It only took them four years.

Their first game was a sell-out crowd of 50,179, with tickets selling out in a matter of hours.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have gone on to become a highly competitive team. In their first five seasons, the D-Backs won three division titles (1999, 2001, 2002) and one World Series (2001). In 1999, Arizona won 100 games in only its second season to win the NL West title.

The Arizona Rattlers know how to intimidate the opponent. The Arena Football League team has won two Arena Bowl championships, in 1994 and 1997. The sports team plays at the US Airways Center and you'll practically feel like you're at a pro-grame.

The Arizona Rattlers are one of the founding teams in the new Arena Football League, playing their inaugural season in 1992.

Based in Phoenix, the team plays their home games in the US Airways Center, also home to the NBA's Phoenix Suns.

The Arizona Rattlers made a name for themselves with their aggressive style of play and impressive number of wins.

As one of the AFL's leading franchises, the Arizona Rattlers won the Arena Bowl championship in 1994 and 1997. They also made it to the finals in 2002, 2003 and 2004.

The team's colors and merchandise are also wildly popular, with their unique copper-colored helmets and rattlesnake logo.

In a popular publicity stunt, the Arizona Rattlers guaranteed a winning 2007 season for ticket holders, pledging to make it to the playoffs or else fans would get their money back. The team made good on the $2.2 million guarantee, clinching a spot in the playoffs with a win over the Orlando Predators.

The Phoenix Mercury is a Women's NBA team that began in 1997, one of 8 original teams when the league began. They are the sister team of the Phoenix Suns, who are also under the same ownership.

The team has fielded more than its share of superstar players, beginning with hall-of-famer Nancy Lieberman.

Players Michele Timms, Jennifer Gillom and headline-grabber Bridget Pettis has all contributed to the team's development into a major franchise.

The team made the playoffs in its first season, and has qualified multiple times since. They reached the finals twice more, and then won the Championship again in 2008.
