Established in 1961, the museum now boasts five exhibit galleries showcasing one of the world's most extensive collections of firefighting apparatus. This collection includes items dating back to 1725 from America, England, France, Austria, Germany, and Japan, providing a comprehensive global perspective on firefighting.

Celebrate the anniversary of the paving of Gilbert Road at the annual Gilbert Days festival. This 3-day extravaganza takes place every November and features a rodeo, parade, and carnival. The best part? It's just a quick 30-minute drive from Phoenix. One of the proudest achievements is the Gilbert Days Royalty Court.
