Bangos Law Firm, P.A. - Clearwater, FL

The motto at Bangos Law Firm is to “analyze like stockbrokers, strategize like mediators.” While the law firm’s primary concentration is on criminal defense and family law representation, the firm also handles other kinds of legal matters. Practice areas include: criminal defense, family law, injunctions, juvenile law, civil law, contract drafting & review, agency and corporate law, appointment of guardian ad litem, personal injury, and other legal cases upon review. The Bangos Law Firm was founded in March 2003 with a commitment to building a successful foundation for the future. The firm is committed to family values and a culture where decisions are made based on helping out our clients throughout our representation.

J. Jason Bangos was always the boy who argued for justice on the playground and took the lawyer route in the Game of Life, but he didn’t fully realize his calling for the law until he turned sixteen. Shortly after he got his driver’s license, he was on his way home from his job at Publix, when his car started to have a muffler problem. A police officer pulled Jason over and told him he was speeding, then wrote him a ticket for racing on the highway. Jason was a straight-A student and an all-around good kid, and didn’t worry when he was pulled over, until he received that ticket.

As you can imagine, Jason was quite upset and didn’t understand how he could get a ticket for racing when there were no other cars around. So, he went to the library and looked up the legal definition of racing. Sure enough, in order to qualify as racing, there had to be a second vehicle. Jason then convinced his friend, who happened to see the entire incident, to go to court with him. After the trial began, Jason went up and told his story to the judge along with the definition of street racing. His friend ended up testifying on his behalf. The look on the police officer’s face was priceless when the judge ruled in Jason’s favor and dismissed the case. That was the moment when Jason began to take a serious interest in the law.

From the moment Jason argued his way out of an unlawful traffic ticket in the courtroom at the age of sixteen, he was destined to become an attorney. Today, Attorney J. Jason Bangos uses both his legal knowledge and superior communication skills to bring justice to those in need.
