The Comedy Store has three rooms-the Original room, the Main Room and the Belly Room-with a variety of local, national and international talent lined up to perform every night. Forgot to bring swimwear? No worries. Venice beach also has a skate park, a bike trail and tennis, basketball and volleyball courts. There's no outdoor beauty like the kind you'll find at the beach.

Opened in 1913, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is the largest museum in the western US. Walk through 4.5 billion years of history as you stroll through the exhibits. Artifacts, fossils and specimen dating back from prehistory to today are preserved and displayed on all three floors.

LA is known for filmmaking; so you shouldn't be surprised to learn dozens of film festivals occur in the LA area every year. The Los Angeles Film Festival is one of the largest, screening over 100 films during its 10-day festivities. The festival showcases independent, international, feature, documentary and short films and draws in a crowd of more than 90,000 to its special events and premieres.
