El Pueblo De Los Angeles Historical Monument reflects the Native American, African, European, Mexican and Chinese cultures that contributed to the early history of Los Angeles. Eleven of the living museum's twenty-seven historic buildings are open to the public.

The third largest performing arts center in the United States, the Music Center consists of four houses on its 11-acre campus: the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the Ahmanson Theatre, the Mark Taper Forum, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
