Housed in the oldest surviving structure of LA's original Chinatown, the Chinese American Museum is part of the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Monument. As such, the mission of the Chinese American Museum is to use art, cultural artifacts and historical facts to "foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of America's diverse heritage."

Go to California's largest water park, Raging Waters, for fun in the sun. Listen to a performance by the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Although the Philharmonic has graced Los Angeles since 1919, the orchestra is renown for its contemporary approach to music. Music critics have hailed it as the most "venturesome and admired" orchestra in America, a must-hear for music aficionados.
