Pershing Square
Visit the Pershing Square in downtown LA. This small, one block city attraction contains a large fountain, numerous artworks and a stage area. This park hosts special events, such as summer concerts, Friday Night Flicks, holiday-themed celebrations and displays of local artists and their work.
Viper Room
Opened in 1993 and partially owned by Johnny Depp until 2004, the Viper Room on the Sunset Strip was known as a popular nightlife hangout for young celebrities and is noted for being the site where actor River Phoenix died. Chinese American Museum
Housed in the oldest surviving structure of LA's original Chinatown, the Chinese American Museum is part of the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Monument.
