The Los Angeles Clippers formed in 1970 as a professional basketball team, part of the National Basketball Association. The sports team has had six winning seasons since its formation, although the athletes continue to provide a competitive, fun game for fans and spectators. Once owned by Paramount Studios, Paramount Ranch hosted a number of large-scale sets featured in movies and television shows dating from the golden age of cinema in 1927 to the final episode of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman in 1997. The majority of the sets have since been removed, but the set of a western town remains intact for visitors.
