Tournament of Roses Parade
Ring in the New Year with the world famous Tournament of Roses Parade. Pasadena has hosted the annual Rose Parade since 1890. Today, millions of Americans watch this celebration before the Rose Bowl college football game. The parade and festival fills the streets with flower-decorated floats, equestrian displays, marching bands and other performers.
Mt. Hollywood Trail
Enjoy an invigorating hike along the Mt. Hollywood Trail in Griffith Park. This three-mile recreational hike begins at the Observatory and ends next to the iconic Hollywood Sign. Although the trail has an incline as it moves up Mulholland, it evens out near the top. Follow the fork in the road either direction, and keep an eye out for the perfect photo-op.
