The Los Angeles Clippers formed in 1970 as a professional basketball team, part of the National Basketball Association. Los Angeles County Museum of Art

With over 100,000 pieces dating from all points in history, LACMA's seven-building complex is the largest encyclopedic museum west of Chicago and has reached international notoriety. Pershing Square

Viper Room
Opened in 1993 and partially owned by Johnny Depp until 2004, the Viper Room on the Sunset Strip was known as a popular nightlife hangout for young celebrities and is noted for being the site where actor River Phoenix died. This smaller venue continues to be well known for its excellent acoustics and Hollywood atmosphere.
