Located in downtown LA, the Orpheum Theatre opened its doors in 1926. Since then, it has undergone a renovation to restore the movie palace to its former glory (including its grand pipe organ). The Orpheum Theatre hosts a variety of entertainment like live concerts, movie premiers, film festivals, theatrical productions, fundraisers, private parties and many other special events.

What started out as a group of filmmakers who were denied entrance to the Sundance Film Festival and decided not to take no for an answer is today’s Slamdance Film Festival. Enjoy all forms of art at the Norton Simon Museum. This art museum contains works from Europe, Asia and the Americas in its permanent collection. These pieces range from 14th century Renaissance oil paintings to early Baroque to modern and contemporary art. Beautiful marble sculptures line the galleries and the Front Garden and fill the extensive Sculpture Garden.
