The Downtown LA Art Walk is the largest (120 square blocks!) and most popular, showcasing the best galleries, artists, vendors, restaurants and shops in downtown. Stop by every second Thursday of the month from noon until 9PM for an unforgettable experience.
Owned by the Los Angeles Lakers, the Los Angeles D-Fenders are a NBA Development League, otherwise known as a D-League, team. The first of its kind to be owned by an NBA franchise, the D-Fenders play their home games in doubleheaders with the Lakers. It's a great opportunity to see some sports action, and see the faces of could-be NBA superstars.
The Armand Hammer Museum of Art and Culture Center, or the Hammer Museum as it is more commonly referred to, is an art museum specializing in key single-artist and thematic exhibitions of historic or contemporary work. Originally created to house Armand Hammer's personal art collection, the museum is now operated by UCLA's School of Arts and Architecture and has expanded to include the Billy Wilder Theater.
