Exposition Park contains several natural and cultural centers, including the California Science Center and other museums. Admire art, collected from ancient to modern times, at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. With over 100,000 pieces dating from all points in history, LACMA's seven-building complex is the largest encyclopedic museum west of Chicago and has reached international notoriety. Besides both permanent collections and traveling exhibits, the museum also hosts film and concert series.

Located on Rainbow Harbor, the Aquarium of the Pacific features a collection of over 11,000 animals, representing over 500 different species. Learn about the different sea life, as well as the importance of the ocean, its threats and conservation. You can also pet the sharks and stingrays at the Shark Lagoon attraction or feed nectar to lorikeets at the Lorikeet Forest.

Experience live entertainment and attractions in a new way at the Peacock Theater, formerly Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE. Opened in 2007, this indoor venue offers 7,100 seats, none of which are more than 220 feet away from the stage. This gives the theatre a sense of intimacy not found in similarly sized theaters. Watch live performances by favorite bands and artists or see a broadcast or film on one of the 14 screens.
