Opened in 1913, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is the largest museum in the western US. Walk through 4.5 billion years of history as you stroll through the exhibits. Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden

This gorgeous, 127-acre garden and outdoor oasis is nestled into the low-key San Gabriel town, near the mountains.
