Paramount Ranch
Once owned by Paramount Studios, Paramount Ranch hosted a number of large-scale sets featured in movies and television shows dating from the golden age of cinema in 1927 to the final episode of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman in 1997. The majority of the sets have since been removed, but the set of a western town remains intact for visitors.
Groundlings Theatre & School
Get some good laughs at the Groundlings Theatre & School. This improvisation and sketch comedy theater has been serving up humor and entertainment for LA audiences for almost four decades. This comedy club also doubles as the Groundlings School, which hosts six-week long sessions. The competitive program claims many famous alumni, including Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph.
Exposition Park
Exposition Park contains several natural and cultural centers, including the California Science Center and other museums. The Dodgers have played in LA since 1958 (even though the team was establish in Brooklyn in 1883), and share a fierce rivalry with the San Francisco Giants.
