Originally built as a single-screen movie theater in 1936, the El Rey Theatre has undergone several transformations over the decades, from a theater to a dance club to its current incarnation as a live music venue. "The King" presents favorite bands and performers in a high-energy entertainment atmosphere.

The Downtown LA Art Walk is the largest (120 square blocks!) and most popular, showcasing the best galleries, artists, vendors, restaurants and shops in downtown. Stop by every second Thursday of the month from noon until 9PM for an unforgettable experience.

Get up close and personal with fish, spiders, lizards, hermit crabs, hissing cockroaches and snakes as you learn about the different species and how they live.
