Located in downtown LA, the Orpheum Theatre opened its doors in 1926. Since then, it has undergone a renovation to restore the movie palace to its former glory (including its grand pipe organ). The Orpheum Theatre hosts a variety of entertainment like live concerts, movie premiers, film festivals, theatrical productions, fundraisers, private parties and many other special events.
On the occasional rainy day in LA, you may not be able to take the kids outside. For some indoor fun, head to Under the Sea indoor playground, a world out of a child's imagination. This children's attraction and entertainment center offers a carousel, Moon Bouncer, Turbo Slide and much more! Fun activities abound in this nautically themed playground.
Sip on a delicious blend of specialty teas at the Chado Tea Room, located inside the Japanese American National Museum, is designed for comfort and relaxation. With the aromas of 200 brews filling the air and a lovely waterfall on the patio, this is a great option for lovebirds looking for a light meal and drink on their romantic outing.
