Spend some time outdoors and challenge yourself by climbing the Maynard Mine Trail, a rugged track that leads to the remains of an old tungsten mine that was operated by Jim Maynard during WWII. It takes time and physical endurance to trek across the 6-mile trail that overlooks the Indian Canyon, offering beautiful vistas along the way.

Extreme trail blazers burn up the recreation trails at Tahquitz Canyon! Positioned in Palm Springs Indian Canyons, the 2-mile loop trail offers zero shade and is steep and rocky with tons of rocks to climb. Be prepared to test your balance and master endurance while climbing up and down rock steps as high as 15 inches.
