Doc Holiday still drinks' booze at the River City Saloon, located in Sacramento. The outlaw hangout is a painstakingly exact replica of the saloon that stood there in the 1900's, hence the famous slogan "almost historic." You can dine, drink and get your picture taken with Doc Holiday while he drinks at the bar at this authentic Wild West stop.

Kid's fairytales come alive at Fairytale Town. The whimsical park is lined with brightly colored storybook-inspired play sets and attractions like King Arthur's Castle and the Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe Slide. Children's imaginations bring to life their favorite nursery rhymes and the outdoor museum tickles their interest in art, gardening, puppet shows and much more.

Tree huggers unite at the Sacramento Capitol Park. Thousands of species of trees occupy the park, some of them as old as Thomas Jefferson. The capital state park is home to majestic red oak trees, hundreds of unusual plants, and well manicured gardens that wind through the popular pathways used by local walkers and joggers. This park is California's rendition of an outdoor paradise.
