Quite often, you get that feeling that you need to “get out” for a bit to clear your head and get some fresh air. San Bernardino offers plenty of excellent outdoor destinations to do just that, and one of the most picturesque is Littlefield/Shultis Park. This inviting area features plenty of lush greenery that adorns its impressive 15 acres. The park also features 15 park benches, 2 playground areas, a 35-mile walking track and 2 picnic areas. So if you want to make a whole day of it or just want a natural setting during your lunch break, the Littlefield/Shultis Park is the perfect destination!
The California Theatre of Performing Arts is the Inland Empire's Premiere Theater and has worked hard to legitimately earn that title. This stunning 1,718-seat auditorium was built in 1928 and continues the legacy by presenting a wide variety of different performances that include legitimate theater, musicals, ballet, recitals, plays, symphony celebrity headliners, fashion shows, corporate seminars, and even graduation and naturalization ceremonies. This entertainment venue continues to proudly serve a population of 26 million people within its 30 mile radius.
Learning about San Bernardino's colorful past is as easy as paying a visit to the San Bernardino County Museum. This impressively arranged facility perfectly balances the area's cultural and natural histories. See creatively constructed exhibits and attractions that focus on local history, anthropology, and the various types of birds that make their home here. Plus, there are various seasonal exhibits and presentations throughout the year. Don't forget to check out the wildlife art, Chinese embroideries, and the museum's rustic landscaping during your visit.
