The Big Bear Solar Observatory proves to be as mighty and impressive as its name. This facility was originally built back in 1965 by the California Institute of Technology and is now maintained by the New Jersey Institute of Technology. The Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art is located on the campus of California State University San Bernardino. The museum is an impressive facility that's home to a collection of close to 1,200 objects that include ceramics and ancient and contemporary art, as well as a large collection of Egyptian artifacts that features 500 pieces spanning over 4,000 years of history. These are just some of the museum's many highlights, which complements its many exhibits with lectures, special presentations and various seasonal events.
